Suite of 5 convertible armchairs from the Louis XV period in molded and carved wood with flower and fan motifs on the leg fittings. Beautiful Parisian work from the 1760s, reminiscent of that of Jean Avisse. They are covered with green silk, mounted in horsehair on straps. Nice seats with elegant proportions, beautiful movement. Very evocative of lightness and the art of living in the 18th century. Nice set, a suite of 4 is very furnishing and a good background for the house. Good general condition, old wood restorations, firm upholstery, unworn silk, one armchair has some stains on the seat. These seats are in overall good house condition, with lots of looks.
