Superb Wall Pyrogen, Bronze High Relief Profile, Pipe Smoker, 19th Century Tobacco Item

Very nice tobacco collector's item, a rare wall pyrogen. In bronze, taking the form of a large medallion, it is decorated in its center with the profile of a man in high relief, Pipe smoker with a hood.. a sailor?? Very nice dark patina, which I dare not clean! The top of the hooded head reveals the receptacle for matches, in copper, added and riveted, well born of the period. On the back, copper hanging ring.
Very good condition, no break or flaw, the item will have to be cleaned, and nevertheless presents a very slight deformation, without gravity.
European working, probably French,  from the second part of the 19th century
Dimensions: 15.5cm diameter. High relief about 4cm H
