A fine example of popular art, in the sense of being close to the people: it's the lunch of 3 workers from southern Italy. The artist has them seated on a pile of rocks, they share a moment of life with a meager meal. Beautiful work of sculpture, mixing humor and benevolence.
Good size: 31cm x 27cm x 18cm, weight: over 4kg.
Primitive for sale to tourism, signed under with a monogram: ME;
Average condition but good appearance: some lack of rock on back, clumsy restoration on one hand with goblet, probably a glued head. Take a good look at our photos.
