Circa 1856 Signed Charpentier Engraver in Nantes Numbered 3/60 Juliette Borghèse made her theater debut with rare brilliance in 1856 in a new opera by Aimé Maillart, Les Dragons de Villars, where her creation of the role of Rose Friquet brought her a success resounding. They applauded in her not only a skilful singer, endowed with a magnificent voice, but an intelligent actress, with a play full of movement and passion.
