"Showcase 2 Doors In Rosewood, Louis XV Style, Napoleon III Period - Mid-19th Century"
This showcase, topped with a red marble from the Pyrenees with a projection and beak-de-corbin, opens with two slightly convex glass doors. Their frames are in rosewood veneer arranged diagonally. These doors have an original functional lock with key and finely crafted brass entries. On the front and on the sides, each of the panes is underlined around its perimeter by an applied trim composed of volutes, pine cones and foliage in gilded bronze. The interior, lined with a salmon fabric, offers two glass shelves, placed on supports, adjustable every five centimeters, thus giving the possibility of adding new ones. The uprights of this piece of furniture, embellished with scraps, are also diagonally veneered and chamfered. They taper down and end in hoofed crowbars. The crosspiece has a cul-de-lamp with a gilt bronze motif. You will be conquered by this display case rarely offered in two doors with a more than reasonable size. ******** Period: Mid-19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
