"Rufino Ceballos : "saint-jean De Luz Seen From Ciboure""
Rufino Ceballos (1907-1970): “Saint-Jean de Luz seen from Ciboure”, oil on canvas 24 X 35 cm mounted in an American box with a black frame 39 X 50 cm. This unusual view of Saint-Jean de Luz on the other side of the bay where the trawlers are moored, taken from the heights of Ciboure, whose characteristic bell tower of the Church of Saint-Vincent borders the picture, is rich in colors and a beautiful liveliness of touch. Circa 1960. We also have from the same artist, a more classic view of Saint-Etienne de Baïgorry. Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone. In partnership with Galerie Lafouresse, we specialize in paintings on the Basque Country, the Landes and the Bassin d'Arcachon.
