Very good state.
Ref. : Sylvain Laboureur, Jean-Emile Laboureur, Individual engravings and lithographs, 539: Total edition of 120 proofs (3 different states), the 3rd state was made for the Société des Peintres-Graveurs (dry stamp of the monogram of the Société at the bottom left). The subject is inspired by a camp of "gypsies" between Herbignac and Assérac, near Pénestin. It was on this board that the artist was still working on the day of his first attack of paralysis. And it was thanks to the insistence of Jacques Beltrand that he agreed to hand it over to the P.-GF before attempting the additional work that his illness would have made very uncertain.
