Pair of large ceremonial Louis XIV style armchairs in carved walnut. Very rich baroque decor with front legs receiving a fat and deep walnut sculpture in acanthus leaves and lion claws. Crosspiece in spacer decorated with an exploded pomegranate fruit. High backrest tilted back with pediment with initials. The upholstery is in good condition, a little soft but can be used as is. The fabric will need to be changed. Period XIX th century.
