Model in blackened wood and brown tortoiseshell marquetry, underlined with numerous brass threads. It opens on the front with two partially glazed leaves, with applied decoration on the lower part of Ceres (goddess of the harvest) and Dyonisos (God of wine and vine). Very rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes, with a very elaborate upper cornice, multiple ingot molds, beautiful high and low chutes Distinctive signs of the BEFORT house with its chutes, its embedded ingot molds, its butt spandrels, and all the other classic codes of the Befort house. Showcases and bookcases by this cabinetmaker are rare, the latter having concentrated more on cabinets. Important dimensions for this rather impressive piece of furniture.
