"Church Interior Signed Pujol"
Painting representing a church interior signed Pierre Louis Marius Poujol (1858-?) Pupil of Magaud then of Cabanel, he exhibited at the Salon of French Artists from 1883 (portrait of the author). He obtained an honorable mention there in 1884 with (Hell, currently at the Museum of Fine Arts in Marseille) and a travel grant in 1890 (Dante sees Paolo and Francesca da Rimini in the turmoil of the voluptuous). In Marseilles, he created the ceiling of the Café Riche (the Dawn of the 20th century). His works can be found in the Fine Arts Museums of Carpentras (Isidore Moricelly at 62 years old) and Marseille (Model's Rest; Mandolin Player. Original frame
