A Perpetual Calendar - Wall thermometer by Boin Taburet in Paris.Wooden structure painted to imitate marble and bronze, two gilt bronze plates, one holding a perpetual calendar (date, day and month) set by silver discs, the other a centigrade thermometer.
All parts are original.

France, Paris, circa 1880. Boin Taburet was a leading Parisian silversmith in the second half of the 19th and early 20th centuries.
Excellent condition throughout, the calendar and thermometer are functional, the original back paper is in fair condition but can be changed easily, consistent with age and use (see photographs).
