Superb and rare sculpture by Adolphe Armand Truffier, the Geisha with a fan and masks from the Nô theatre. Bronze patinated metal and porcelain biscuit. The foot, hands and arms, head and Nô mask in biscuit porcelain in the style of chryselephantines. Very nice work of draping the kimono with engravings. The woman holds in her left hand a large fan with Noh theater masks hanging from the handle. Signed A Truffier at the bottom of the kimono. Base in green onyx from Algeria. Good house condition, some alterations to the patina, a finger of one hand seems to have been restored. Art Nouveau period around 1900. Firm price not negotiable.
