Superior officer's sword, Restoration period (1814-1830) LOUIS XVIII° -CHARLES X -, half-moon keyboard without counter-keyboard with central medallion with the Arms of FRANCE (3 Lys) and two Dauphins. XIX°. Gilded bronze mount with butt knob adorned with a wreath of foliage, laurel branch and spangarium wreath leaf with crest with 3 fleur-de-lis (Armes de France). Joining arch with central decoration of oak leaves and acorn ending in an acanthus leaf. Half moon keyboard without counter keyboard with central medallion bearing the Arms of France (3 Lys) surrounded by 4 flags and two dolphins holding in their jaws 1 cannonball. Quillon upturned and decorated with foliage. Walnut spindle vertically striped on the edge and squared ending at the height of the quillon by a fine chiseled ring of foliage. Blade of triangular section over its entire length, engraved in the 1st third of caves and foliage.
