Game Table, Louis XV Style - Mid 19th Century

Large sideboard in carved solid oak, topped with a large Belgian "Red Royal" marble with a square around it with a corbin spout. This table features a cut-out, knock-out waistband. Indeed, moldings and sculptures of shells, foliage and acanthus leaves decorate the whole of this structure. It rests on four curved legs, the top of which is carved with an acanthus leaf with a descent in a string of foliage. In the lower part, a projecting rise depicting a leaf, accompanies a volute foot.
