Wooden sculpture from the year 1900. Imposing sculpture arranged under a custom-made showcase with light spots intended to highlight this creation. A clock is in the center of it. Sculpted wooden replica, coated with wax and covered with mica, which represents the famous Ferris wheel of the Universal Exhibition of 1900. It was disassembled and then reassembled in Vienna, Austria. This piece is inspired by the Ferris wheel that was built on Avenue de Suffren in Paris. The original had an impressive diameter of 106 meters and had 80 cabins, each able to accommodate 20 people (compared to 36 cabins for the Chicago version). Unfortunately, it was demolished in 1937.
