Animated Reuge brand music box, depicting a couple of Marquis Louis XV turning on themselves with breaks on the points and accelerations, going up and down. Entirely handmade with great meticulousness by Marthe Philippart, the face with a white bean, the ceremonial clothes made from silk caterpillars, gauzes, lace, the hair is made of sheep's wool and the brass wire frame. The set is under a glass globe. Musical piece Lullaby Mozart (dancers 1775). In perfect condition . It's a family story Marthe Philippart made the smallest dolls in the world, they were ordered extensively by the luxury houses Hermès, Louis Vuitton, Rochas. Height of the globe 23 cm and diameter 13 cm.
