"Albert Marionnet (1852-1910) Beautiful Double Inkwell With Blackberries In Gilt Bronze Art Nouveau"
Magnificent and large double inkwell in gilded bronze decorated with mulberry branches heavily laden with fruit, thus creating an important relief. It rests on four "top" legs. The inkwells adorned with rotating channels are complete with their original blown glass bucket. All finely chopped. A very beautiful naturalist decor, representative of the Art Nouveau period. Double signature. Signed A. Marionnet on the edge and marked on the reverse: "Deposited A. Marionnet Bronze Paris". Renowned bronzier and engraver, Albert Marionnet was also involved in the manufacturing process of his pieces as a founder. In this case, he stamped the above mention on the reverse (see photo). Cleaned in respect of its beautiful patina of use, it is ready to grace your desk with elegance. Late 19th century, early 20th century.
