Strasbourg, 18th century timpani, tulip-shaped in solid silver and vermeil, by master silversmith Johann Jacob Hauser, received in 1723 and hallmark of the city, 13 topped with a fleur-de-lys. It rests on a pedestal chiseled with gadroons, the neck of a fillet molding. Punches stamped on the reverse and numbered with the initials A & P. Height: 8.7 cm. / 3. 43 in.
