Old & rare system snuff box dating from the second half of the 18th century. Seditious model concealing a painted miniature in a false bottom. Tortoiseshell box stitched with gold. Strapping of the miniature also in gold. 6cm in diameter and 3.5cm in height. The portrait is of very high quality: Together in good condition, to report trimmings on the back of the box.
