Iranian kilim from the Fars region (southwestern Iran), wool, around 1950. Good condition, some traces of wear which in no way detracts from its solidity.

Beautiful gasghai kilim in kénéreh format, with patina colors (turmeric, aubergine, black, grey, beige, ...) and geometric patterns. It is difficult nowadays to find a gashghaï kilim in these dimensions and in these colors. Very nice piece. To keep the kilim on the ground and avoid ripples, we offer you, if you wish, an effective anti-slip.

The Gashghaï confederation includes different tribes. Some examples: the kashkulis Bozorgs (the big ones), the kashkulis Kucheks (the little ones), the Shishbolukis (six districts), the Amalehs or Yalamehs (workers, servants of the Khan).
