Superb and rare iron and metal knight's armor etched with chivalrous scenes. This is a life-size reproduction of the armor of Charles V (1500-1558), King of Spain. The armor is fixed on a wooden mannequin and is placed on a wooden base. This set is very well made, with rivets, leather straps... There is a sword marked Carlos V (there is one end of the hilt broken and missing), and a rare matching halberd. We present to you this armor in its found condition, dust, greasy body.... a piece of wood from the legs formerly pitted with worms, the part has been treated but wood dust remains in the metal. Very nice patina of time. Very beautiful object of decoration ideal for fortified castle, guard room, reconstruction of museum... Period mid 20th century.
