Very elegant jam container or sugar vase in solid silver from the Empire period. In perfect condition, it contains a pretty cut clear crystal interior. The main decoration is formed by four caryatids of the Roman goddess Pomona, goddess of fruits and flowers, an ideal subject for a jam or préserve pot . The grip of the lid is also in the shape of two rosebush stems in bloom. The rest of the decor is typically Empire. Vase and lid are hallmarked "second rooster", guarantee of the first silver title for the period 1809-1819. The frame weighs 485 grams without its colorless cut crystal interior.
