Embossed copper disc with gilding on the main subject in the center, and, alternately, on the floral motifs on the periphery. Very fine representation of the 18-armed deity, Durga, in her Mahishasura mardini aspect brandishing her many attributes. At her feet the lion her vehicle as well as the demon she defeats. High quality of execution, diameter 22 cm, Nepal, 18th century
