Very original oblong salt bottle with cutaway in crystal, ivory and silver. Its shoulder is covered with an interlacing of flowers and leaves cut out of Dieppe ivory. The cap represents a putti lying or kneeling on a basket of fruit and flowers. The putti is very finely carved. Some minimal ivory cracks. Giraffe and boar head hallmark: From 1838
