This Louis XVI chest of drawers in natural elm wood opens with 2 long drawers surmounted by a row of 2 drawers, molded with a corbin beak. The piece of furniture is topped with a molded top. Each length drawer is provided with a middle oval keyhole flanked by 2 pull rings falling on a roundel. The 2 drawers in the upper row are separated by a frame; all 3 are equipped with a keyhole matching the lower drawers. The rounded and fluted front uprights end in a tapered foot. The sides have panels set in a straight frame. This piece of furniture in good condition (usual restorations) is a Louis XVI work from the end of the 18th century.
