Superb gilt bronze statuette forming a seal to be sealed. This is a sculpture by Jules Aimé Grosjean (1872-1906) representing the bust of a young woman wearing a veil on her head totally in the spirit of Art Nouveau. Very beautiful original gilding. Signature on the side. The stamp bears the initials TD; Hallmark of a goldsmith or founder, AL Important weight, 519 gr. Period late nineteenth century.
