"Gouache Watercolor Marine Auguste Delacroix."
Gouache and watercolor painting from the 19th century, dated 1841, representing an assembly of young fishermen. Original work by Auguste Delacroix, signature lower right which has kept all its original freshness and contrasts. Interesting piece by its subject and its author known for his maritime representations of the French coasts and North Africa. Present in many museums, Boulogne sur Mer where he was born and died 1809 1868, Reims Rouen Marseille Athens. Possibility of sending in France and abroad with secure package. Note the presence of its period frame in gilded wood in excellent condition, 27 by 22.5 cm.
