Fabulous Japanese carved mahogany side table, sold by Liberty & Co. Circa 1900. These tables were commissioned by Liberty & Co and hand carved in Japan. The company imported products from the Middle East and the Orient in keeping with the ideals of late 19th century art movements. Some of these tables were flat packed and needed assembly after their long journey to the Libertys Regent Street store. There are no retailer labels on the table.
