JACKET OF A BRITISH BRIGADIER-GENERAL, 1930s. 26473R In fine khaki combed wool. Open collar, lapels with scarlet felt collar tabs crossed by a flat braid and topped with a uniform button. Closing straight with four buttons stamped with the "GvR" monogram. Chest pockets with watteau pleats and brace flaps. Bellows hip pockets and straight flaps. Sleeve cuffs in pointed bottom cloth. Shoulder tabs sewn to the armholes overloaded with the royal crown and three golden rank nails. Numerous ribbons of decorations including the Order of the British Empire and decorations from the First and Second World Wars. Rayon lining, label of a Saint James tailor with handwritten name of a Lieutenant-Colonel, difficult to read. Britain. 1930s. Absence of the button on the right shoulder tab, and replaced by a button not of the model. Good condition.
