Gall (19th-20th) Old Farm Around Aix En Provence

In the background the Chaîne de l'Etoile, and in the foreground a haystack, a grove of argelas in bloom, more real than life pines top this old and authentic Provençal farmhouse. The residence that we all dream of living in, quiet, far from the inconveniences of city life by the artist of Swiss origin but a great specialist in the landscape of the surroundings of Aix en Provence at the end of the 19th century Gall. The work is offered in a gilded frame with channels which measures 53 cm by 69 cm 38 cm by 55 cm for the canvas alone. It represents an old farm in Provence, certainly around Aix where the artist lived part of the year and had his habits. In excellent condition, it is signed lower right.
