" Sunburst " 80cm Large Double Sun Wall Light Fixture, Golden Witch Mirror Type, Ca 1960

Large luminous wall light (80cm) on two levels, type "Sunburst" witch mirror, dating from the 1960s. Exceptional model made up of 2 two superimposed suns in golden resin (preparatory layer in the color of oxblood), the front sun is separable very simply in order to access the bulb without having to remove the luminaire from the wall. This double structure offers a real perspective and depth to the luminaire, letting the light pass between these 2 elements. Luminaire in very good condition (note a crack on a spoke of a rear branch, see photo) and originally entirely provided with an interior construction in steel wire, none of the spokes can therefore separate from the structure .
