Born April 3 , 1859 in Sommevoire , France , he studied with Mathurin Moreau at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris and exhibited at the Paris Salon from 1889 .
Today , Drouot's work can be found , among others , in the collections of the Courtauld Institute in London and the Indiana University Museum of Art in Bloomington .
The artist died in 1945 in Paris .
