The chalice rests on a domed circular foot, profiled in ogee and chiseled with four rosettes. A double net separates the top of the foot and the edge of the cove. The terrace is topped with radiating channels with matted edges alternately large and small, a cross is drawn with a chisel in its lower part. The stem bears an ovoid knot with a gadrooned shoulder joined by two heavy threaded rings. The gilded cup inside is set in its saucer taking up the decor of the terrace. These two elements were completed 10-15 years later. Despite this, the chalice has perfectly retained its original proportions and beauty.
