Processional Canopy From The Louis XIV Period.
Processional canopy in richly and abundantly carved, painted wood, its top in faux marble, and gilded. In good condition, however missing a few small tassels in the manner of passementerie, several bits of leaves and flames of fire pots; the cross crowning the dome has disappeared. Beautiful and rare religious piece of furniture. Louis XIV period. End of the seventeenth century.
