Large model and very good quality of execution, treated in the neoclassical style, decorated with superb ram's heads, foliage and flower garlands. Note, the research concerning the choice of the marble vein ("Peach Blossom" marble was already at the time a rare and sought-after marble, formerly extracted in the North of Italy) and the very good quality of carving and gilding of the bronze fittings. French work in superb condition from the second half of the 19th century.
