Very elegant Louis XV Style Panetière, Provençal work from the mid-19th century. The Panetière is a sort of openwork cupboard, generally suspended, used to preserve bread, and allowing air circulation and better conservation. Great finesse of execution of the decorations largely inspired by the vegetation of the Region, decorated with foliage, flowers, soup tureen. Composed of turned wooden columns, the whole is pegged in the old way. The decorated door is mounted on an interior hinge and lock. The very largely decorated Pediment is surmounted by 6 Bobèches, the lower Frieze is also decorated with a soup tureen and floral elements. It rests on four snail feet.
