"Napoleon III Desk Stamped Cremer"
Napoleon III desk by cabinetmaker Joseph Cremer (1811-1878). This desk is in ebony and marquetry of light wood fillets (lemon tree). The feet are slightly arched and lined with finely chiseled gilded bronzes. The top is covered with a full-grain havana leather engraved with a refurbished wheel and surrounded by an ingot mold also in gilded bronze. This desk is double-sided, the visitor side has the same decor. The 2 drawers open with a spring button mechanism. This desk bears a label from the renowned manufacturer Joseph Cremer "Rue Saint Louis, 60 (Marais) Paris" and dated December 27, 1863. This desk has been completely restored in our workshops. DIMENSIONS: 1.29 MX 0.78 M AND 0.75 M HEIGHT. DELIVERY ON ESTIMATE.
