"Gothic Style Mirror In Carved Oak, Neogothic Mirror, Period XIX, Troubadour Style"
Superb carved oak mirror in the Gothic style, from the mid-19th century. This mirror has a rich architectural ornamentation surmounted by two pinnacles at its ends. Typical of the Gothic style, also called "Gothic Renaissance", this mirror presents all the characteristics of the ornamentation taking up the codes of medieval architecture so dear to Viollet-le-Duc The mirror is old and in good condition, it has some slight oxidation without impact at the bottom left (see photo 10, yellow arrows). The woodwork is in very good condition and has some minor wear.
