"18th Century Mahogany Cabaret Tray Table"
Louis XV table with top called "cabaret" in mahogany. The top with rounded corners is hollowed out to form a so-called "cabaret" top, it is fixed to the belt by pegs. It opens with a large drawer in front, turned wooden pull button. It rests on four curved and molded legs with a sausage that rolls up into a volute at the base and rests on a high shoe. The crosspieces are fretted and molded with a protruding flange. Two small old restorations on the corners of the top, the drawer slides formerly replaced. Beautiful port work probably La Rochelle or Rochefort sur mer executed in the second half of the 18th century.
