In Cologne, at the Heirs of Herman Demen 1719. Beautiful copy adorned with numerous portraits / "Memoirs to serve the History of France by (Pierre de l'Etoile with notes by J. Godefroi) Containing the most remarkable things that happened in the Kingdom from 1515 until 1611, with portraits of Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses & other illustrious people mentioned therein. Two beautiful engraved false titles: volume 1, 14 portraits; volume 2, 14 portraits. This edition is rare and very complete ( handwritten annotated belonging to a retired soldier) I would not return to the importance of these memoirs which cover a period so rich in twists and turns
