Exceptional in size and quality of execution etching  engraved by Joël  Ballin (1822-1885) danish engraver who lived in Paris and in London, after a composition by Constant Joseph Brochart (1816-1899).
Printed and Published by Goupil & Cie editors on April 1, 1873.
55 x 81.1 cm subject (21.65 x 31.92 inches)
76.5 x 99 cm sheet (30.11 x 38.97 in.)
Very slight trace of crumpling of the paper at the top center and bottom in the center, tiny. Small tear outside the subject, in the lower right margin, restored (see photos). One of the first proofs of the edition, very well contrasted
Good condition. This work has been restaured by a professional & accurate restaurer.
Very decorative and sensitive.
