"Bricard François (1879-1935) - The Little Violinist"
Painting, oil on canvas, early 20th century, showing a street child playing the violin like a guitar, bow at his feet. Signed lower left. François-Xavier BRICARD (1879-1935), French painter, pupil of Cormon and Tournoux, member of the Salon of French Artists where he exhibited from 1904. He was often inspired by street scenes. (ref. Bénézit). Dimensions with frame: 100 x 67 cm. Dimensions without frame: 82 x 51 cm.
