"Bricard François (1879-1935) - The Little Violinist"
Painting, oil on canvas, early 20th century, showing a street child playing the violin like a guitar, bow at his feet. Signed lower left. François-Xavier BRICARD (1879-1935), French painter, pupil of Cormon and Tournoux, member of the Salon of French Artists where he exhibited from 1904. He was often inspired by street scenes. (ref.
