Ilanca Nocodim is a Romanian artist born in 1965, daughter of the famous visual artist Ion Nicodim, it was in 1979 that she left her country of origin to join her family who had preceded her in Paris. After studying art history at the Sorbonne and contemporary art, she decided to sculpt in her father's studio in Bucharest and Paris. His work as a sculptor unfolds in the creation of furniture as well as the art of jewelry and abstract works, influenced by Giacometti, Brancusi, and Claude Lalanne. This large and beautiful console is in bronze with a golden patina. The decorative elements are in galvanized copper, Gingko leaves, snails and butterflies. This console is a unique piece dated 2012 and signed by the artist.
