"Napoleon III Inlaid Games Table"
Napoleon III Louis XVI style games table inlaid with precious wood, rosewood, mahogany, ebony, rosewood, cicomore, satin, maple, boxwood, lemon tree etc. Its 1st top reveals a checkers and chess game, in belt 2 drawers. This table rests on four sheathed legs dressed in bronzes, acanthus leaves, dovetails and hooves. It is topped with a removable top called "cap", with on one side a green felt and on the other, a very beautiful marquetry representing a scene of a walk in a castle park at the edge of a river.
