Sword of an officer of the imperial hunts, waters and forests and louveterie, 2nd Empire period, 19th century. Double-edged flat blade with median edge and 2 hollow sides on the first half. Marking on the heel of the blade, "Klingental" & "coulette". Chased gilt bronze frame. Ovoid pommel characterized by a wolf's head in relief in an oval with a sandblasted bottom. Joining arc chiseled with laurel branch and with median ove on radiating in an oval. Flat and smooth mother-of-pearl plates ending in two vertical stripes. Body knot adorned with a pearl. Quillon in the shape of a neck ending at the end with an eagle's head. Symmetrical keyboard without counter-keyboard with cut-out border with the central motif of an eagle on lightning with outstretched wings, foliage and oak and laurel branches.
