Small figural table lamp of a seated temple musician in gilt bronze on a black wooden base.
The noble object dates from the beginning of the 20th century. Thai temple guardian sits on an ornate pedestal and plays a side instrument.
The figure is very delicate in its design, the robe and headdress seems richly decorated, borders and embroidery can be seen in the front and back.
The posture is dynamic and almost elated by the music the flowing from the instrument.

The bronze lamp construction was custom made for the object, and the oval shade is handmade and patinated.
