Long bas-relief in staff and with "bronze" patina depicting "The Triumph of Galatea" after the original work in terracotta by Claude Michel, known as Clodion (Nancy, 1738 - Paris, 1814) presented at the Salon of 1779. Molding of the end of the 19th century. The scene represents the triumphal escape by sea of the nymph Galatea from the Cyclops Polyphemus.
