Sentinel headquarters, "BAOULE or SENOUFO" ethnic group, COTE D'IVOIRE country, mid-20th century colonial period. Seat articulated in 2 removable parts, one of which consists of two blades of wood called iron and in extension of the seat in a single part. The second consists of the back in a single hollowed part, also in ironwood. The seat fits into the openwork backrest. File engraved on the front side with two snakes and a mask and on the back side with a "KALAO" bird. Presence of an old period restoration on the top of the backrest. The seat is engraved with 2 masks and 2 lizards. Height: 120 cm Good state of conservation and use, with its patina of time, see the details in the photos.
