Very pretty mixed technique on canvas measuring 61cm x 50cm plus quality Montparnasse wood frame 77cm x 66cm representing an elegant woman in Cassis with the famous Cap Canaille in the background (highest cliff in Europe) signed lower right ZIMMERMANN Michel ZIMMERMANN and the waves Michel TOPLEK known as Zimmermann or M.Meyer Painter with academic training; after a few classic experiences, exhibitions and competitions won with 1st prizes, he moved towards a more self-taught painting, trying to be the least influenced and to keep a certain authenticity. Exterior painter, he travels many regions in order to always be in contact with the subject. His observation and his experience lead him to innovate a technique he calls undulism: the complete work is composed of multiple juxtapostions of slightly curved twin keys which give the painting an undulating effect.
