The griffin in medieval heraldry often represented strength, courage and vigilance, combining the body of a lion and the head of an eagle. These mythical creatures were often used as symbols of protection and nobility in coats of arms and spells. Material: Copper alloy with gold plating. Period: 12th-15th century Size: 33x26mm
